~Baking~

Nichole helped me make sugar cookies today. She decorated one for her brothers and sister and knew exactly which one went to who when they got home from school. My girls love to help me in the kitchen and even though it seems to make a huge mess, it's worth it.

Devon and Landyn got their first deer!!!

Devon got a 5 point buck
 Landyn got a doe

Daddy was just as excited as the boys when they got their deer. He told me before they left that hunting season will be worth it even if he doesn't get anything as long as the boys do. Guess what? Ryan is happy, the boys are thrilled and deer season is over for this house hold. NOT! :o) I am happy for the boys and proud of them, it was exciting to see them so excited! And they gave Papa Carl part of the credit for working with them and practicing on shooting. Thanks Papa!

Biggest event last week~Landyn turned 9

Landyn and his sweaty head from playing with the boys. :o/
I have major shadows going on in this picture. Landyn got some neat gifts, he was so happy with all of them, he kept talking about it all weekend.
 Nichole
Courtney and her crazy hair.
John, Mendy, Tryke and Kollin(my very cute nephew)
Landyn was so excited about his birthday, that his hyper and crazy ways were driving me batty. He begged and begged to have Shawn and Josh Sutton over for a full two weeks before his birthday party and I never really gave him an answer, I decided to surprise him and invite them but not tell him. :o) In his hyper and very talkative personality, He is a boy with a big heart and can be very sweet and thoughtful of others. I hope he continues to be that way the older he gets.

Crawdad Fishin'

The Boys decided to go crawdad fishing in the ditch and got a bunch of babies. Since that wasn't enough fun they decided to get some of the perch they had caught for cat fishing and throw them in there and fish for those too. Nichole is the one that ended up "fishing", and no they didn't catch any of the fish they put in there. :o) Courtney of course can't get any mud on her or she might melt, therefore she is not in these pictures. She is not the out-door-z girl that the rest of the kids are. She would and does beg for chores to do inside if they are told to go outside and play. Crazy girl, but I love her to death!

First Day of School~2013

First let me tell you, I didn't cry today. I shed a few tears last night after I got them all tucked into bed and they were sleeping away, I guess the realization that our kids aren't babies anymore and they are all growing up hit me. It seems like it is happening so fast.

They were so excited about school! Nichole was chomping at the bit because we weren't leaving fast enough.
Courtney, otherwise known as hillbilly sis, is now wanting 2 teeth for Christmas. :o) She is so proud of her missing teeth. LOL! And she smiles for all to see. Landyn told her that if he were her he wouldn't smile big, because its not very pretty. Such a sweet brother. *eye roll*
Nichole was on a mission to get to her classroom.
 Nichole, Kindergarten
Landyn, 4th grade
 Courtney, 1st grade

 Devon, 5th grade
These are 4 of my favorite little people....most of the time. :o)

Independence Camp~Children's Church

 Devon
Morgan attempting to touch the sheep.
Gary and his son, Rex brought a sheep for the kids to see. The kids loved it and I thought it was very nice of them to take time out of their Saturday to do it.

Natalie, Maria, and I decorated for Children's church. I didn't seem to find time to get some pictures when it was empty.

I am not sure how many kids were there for the program Sunday but I am guessing around 100.
