HAPPY BIRTHDAY COURTNEY!!!!

4 years old!! She was so excited to be four,Started dancing all over the place when we were talking about it being her birthday!! I am sure we will hear all year about her next birthday and what all she has on her list of wants!! We already had a Birthday party for the girls together but we are gonna make a cake and have a few people over!! :o)

I am thankful that we have a God we can trust when we feel alone and at the end of our rope. He is there when we feel like the world is crashing down on us,we can't handle any more and we're not sure what to do next or where to go. I wanna do what the Lord wants and I wanna accept what he has planned for us even when it doesn't make a lick of sense and I feel like I can't do anymore. I want him to guide my life!

~Church Christmas Program~

~A HAND-FUL OF MIRACLES~

Devon sang a duet/solo with another boy from Childrens church.(first time at church) He did a good job considering the song was too high for him! He was nervous, but we practiced alot at home. We were proud of him!

We about had a knock down drag out over who was gonna get to hold the microphones. None of the little ones were suppose to but they couldn't leave em alone. Nellie was singing away, and probably should have had one but it kept gettin takin away from her,and when there aren't enough to go around, they don't understand. Courtney, knowing they weren't suppose to play with the mics and being the little mama that she is was bossin her sister, telling her to put it down and whispering in her ear, I am guessing little threats that they get once in a while when they need to starighten up. I told Ryan that Kaylee was takin care of her cousin, didn't wanna give her mic up but wanted to make sure that Nichole had one. Our angels weren't exactly little angels!! Which I am sure is no surprise since 3 of them were little Goins girls! (it was cute for a while, I was afraid someone was gonna get hurt and we were gonna have a bigger scene, not so funny. Being the mean mama that I am, I took them from both of them and laid them on the floor that way no one had one!)




All of the kids and teens did a great job, It was one of the best Christmas Programs! Brought tears to my eyes a couple of times. Cheryl Brewer was in charge, with many helpers,Vicki Clifton played the piano and was at all the practices, Natalie was in charge of decorating, which I think she did an awesome job and Shelly and Mandie were the main helpers with the Children's church kids!! Which has been running from 20-25 children.

Courtney Jean, her Birthday isn't until December 29th but at this point it is easier to have the girls party together between birthdays, my plan is to do it until they are old enough to care.

Tried to make a bear cake....? I can't see putting alot of time in cakes when all people do is eat em! The girls liked it and that is all that matters!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Today is 10 years for us!! And I hope many, many more!! I have the best husband in the world!! And our kids have the best daddy in the world!! Couldn't ask for better!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICHOLE!! 3 yrs old today!!

Nichole turned 3 today!! She is the same age as her sister for 2 weeks! I took these pictures first thing this morning, u can tell, do to her daddy's eyes and uncombed hair! :o) Nichole was a surprise to us when we found out I was exspecting, but I wouldn't change it for anything!! She is a little tom boy, loves to wrestle, fish, loves animals, etc. She is a sweet little girl and very hard headed at times. Not sure where that comes from?!

Living Nativity

For the last five years the high school has done the living nativity for the Christmas Program. There are 24 people in the cast and each session is 20 minutes long. After it is over, everyone goes inside for hot cocoa, hot apple cider (or cold!) and cookies! The high schoolers sing Christmas songs, play violins, etc!! They all did a good job!

Devon was little boy Jesus! I was busy helping inside so I did get to watch him. Kind of disappointing, but I got to watch him practice. His daddy got to be out there with him though!

~Ryan's Graduation~

Ryan graduated yesterday with his Bachelor Degree in Buisness OWU! It was a big, special day! Alot of hours, time, and money have gone into it! I am very proud of him! He wants to go on and get his master's, if he gets a new job that will cover the cost, he will, if not, we will get his school bill paid and then he will start!(that could be 30 years from now, not sure how long they will let us make payments!!:o) His grade point average was 3.86, he barely missed the suma-cum-laude which is a 3.9 and up, he did however get magna-cum-laude and got a silver cord with the other two he recieved at his associates graduation. And yes, I am bragging about my husband!!

Devon had been up since 6:45 a.m. and it was now around 1:30 p.m. Can you tell he has had a long morning of sitting still and being quiet?! He did very good!

Devon wanted to go with us, the other three kids stayed home and Aunt Stephanie came and watched them. We had to be in Bartlesville to eat breakfast with Ryan's class and then he had rehearsal at 9:45 a.m. and graduation was at 11:00 a.m. after that, we went to Rib Crib for lunch!!
