Your grace still amazes me

This has become one of my favorite songs the last few weeks! I plan on Ryan and I learning it for church!

There is something about getting a camera out that makes my kids smile or makes silly faces! (I think Aunt Maria is to blame for that! There isn't too often she doesn't have her camera!)

A trip to Cessna to eat lunch with Daddy!

The girls had been stuck in the house with their mom a couple days(due to rain/muddy yard) and they were ready to see the out doors!! :o) I asked them if they wanted to eat lunch with their dad and they of course went up in cheers and said yes! So an hour early Courtney was ready to pack our lunch, peanutbutter -n- jelly and water! It was nice for something different, They loved it, and I think there dad kinda liked it too!!(we don't have any girly lunch boxes yet!)

Landyn's Birthday Party!

Landyn decorated his own cake, I thought he did an awesome job!! He had dinosaurs drinking water, eating leafs off of trees, eating eggs, etc....He started out with one dinosaur eating another one, but changed his mind. :o)

He got all kinds of stuff for his birthday, infact I think he got everything he had on his list!
Lunch box w/spiderman and thermos cup to match, backpack with all kinds of goodies, batman toys, scooter, water gun, etc.

All the kids loved the fish! It has to be skinny pieces and fried real good for me! I am starting to like it pretty well myself!! I figured I better since my husband and kids love to fish and that is what we have in the freezer! ;o)

Landyn wanted a fish fry and said he thought it would be nice if Mike could help daddy too! So Ryan and Mike fried fish, hush puppies, and fries! The kids played outside and rode the fourwheeler, etc!

I have been trying to get Courtney to realize that when we go in public we need to match! She had her apron and mitt on and went running out of the kitchen, she came back with her pink cowgirl hat, and she proudly told me it matched!!
The other day we were getting ready to go to church on Wednesday and her shoes didn't match her shirt so I told her to get the ones that matched, she came back with a different pair that didn't match her shirt but she proudly told me they matched her underwear! lol! I let her wear them, she tried!! :o)

I asked her if she would please make her bed after she ate breakfast!! She had the biggest smile and was so proud of how she made her bed!! I told her how good she did and told Nichole to come see how good her sister made the bed!! Nichole wanted to pull the quilt over the sheets(like it is suppose to be done) and Courtney was afraid she was gonna mess the bed up, it was kinda cute! Anyways....I couldn't help but take a picture of all her effort!! She is always there to help me, wether I need it or not!! :o)

~BIRTHDAY BOY!!~

Landyn turned 6 years old on Monday!! Janet made him a Birthday cake on Sunday and then when he returned to school on Tuesday someone bought him a birthday cake and he got to have a little party! He requested a fish fry for his birthday with family so that is the plan on Saturday!(the picture looks funny because of the smoke from the fire he was sitting in front of)

Labor Day Weekend

We had a hotdog roast and made smores on Saturday evening, the kids loved it!!

I have never known anyone to be so patient with little kids and take time to read books, play, listen to them, etc.!! I appreciate that!! And I think that is partly the reason why my kids love them so much!!

We left Friday morning to leave for Troy, Mo. to go see the Jacksons! It took 6 1/2 hours from the time we left to the time we got there! I wasn't sure how the kids (or I) would do with that long of a drive, but it wasn't too bad! We promised the kids we would go before school started, didn't quite make it before school, but we kept our promise. We had a fun, relaxing time, and it was much needed! I don't think anyone wanted to go home!! About 5-10 minutes after we left, Courtney told me(several times) how much she missed Janet and she wanted to go back, I told her that we would go see them another time!! If they think they can handle us again! ;o)

Poor Ryan never got a break if he was in sight of my girls!!

Daddy's hunting buddies!!

Ryan planned on taking the boys dove hunting when he got off and Courtney begged to go, even cried, she has been talking about going hunting with daddy since last turkey season!! So the four of them got their camo on and off they went! Courtney of course was thrilled, as you can tell by the picture! (Poor Nichole felt left out, she wanted to go too, even got her clothes off to change. I was surprised he even took 3 kids! I took Nichole and we had a little fun together while they were gone!)

This little goofball went inside to go to the restroom and came out lookin like this. It was quite humerous and she was very proud of herself. She had supper all over her face to top it off!! She has definetly started getting a personality of her own!! :o)

Courtney and Nichole had to be in the picture with their brothers, they were just as excited about the first day of school too!! We all got to go in and they got a hug and a kiss at the door of the classroom from their big brothers. Devon was ok with it, Landyn was a little embarassed that his sisters were smoochin on him!
