What we have been up to...

PLAYING IN THE WATER......

Jacob was running and fell in the mud, when he got up it looked like he had facial hair!

BUILDING TREE HOUSES/FORTS.....

The kids spent at least 3 hours working on their forts, it was nice for them to keep occupied with something for longer than 30 minutes!

AND PLAYING AT THE PARK!!

My 4 little orphans!

Nichole wouldn't smile so the others thought they would help her out!

How is this for typical boys? They said mom take a picture of this...and I turned around to see this!! :o)

Jacob and Devon...my kids love this little guy!

Landyn thinks he is so cool when he does that, it drives me crazy....that's what happens when they have more contact with older kids at school! :o/

Woo-hoo! Rain!

Nichole was quite excited about the rain, she ran out on the deck and started dancing(if that's what you call it) I decided after 5 minutes of that to take a few pictures!

Happy Father's Day!

2 pretty little girls with their handsome daddy!

Nichole was being a little stinker as usual!

~Daddy's Girl~
(Babies name is Mason)

My kids have the best daddy ever!! He works hard to supply for his family, takes time for family time and he is a Godly man! Kinda hard to find one with all the above! I hope our boys are just like him! We think he is great and love him lots! :o)

~Baseball~

Devon getting ready for another game! He loves playing ball and looks forward to every game!

He had quite the cheer leading team and support! Tyra, Derek and kids, Uncle Brett, Uncle Darrin, Aunt Maria and kids, G-ma Charlotte and Papa Carl, and Mike were there as well as Devon's own little family of 6, that isn't enough when it comes to going to his games, he wants everyone else to come too, it is more exciting!

Garden

Ryan has amazed me with his interest in gardening, he does good, the bad part is....I come along with all of the hard work and gardening isn't exactly an interest of mine! I told him I would rather pick and can! We have put several hours into it and I have had muscles hurt that never hurt before! He even had me running the tiller, for some reason we wouldn't let me go though the rows.... which was a good thing because I took out a watermelon hill! Kind of like weed eating, he started it for me and left. I obviously hadn't done that much either because I somehow managed to chop 2 rose bushes down! But hey, I did a good job otherwise! I was trying to be a good wife and help with the yard!

We have a garden at our house and no one was doing a garden at the school (which is huge) so we decided to go ahead and do that one too since our house is on the market to sell and the garden obviously wouldn't go with us! We have put hours into planting, etc and so help me if one of my kids steps on a plant! :o) I don't care if we have 100 of them! Actually the kids have had to help so they are a little more careful! Ryan started his own plants from seed this year! He has done awesome, and it didn't cost much! I'd rather a pack of seeds for 20cents verses one plant for $3-$4.

We have corn, tomatoes, green beans, red and yellow onions, garlic, bell peppers, jalapenos, banana peppers, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, watermelon, cantaloupe and pumpkins(for the kid)! And of course some sunflowers along the edge for fun! At home we have the same just not near as much, and we have our strawberry plants too! I am hoping that it turns out good and we have plenty to can and share!

Nichole and her buddy!

2 little stinker! I love em both!

How would you like to have this in your house?

Landyn thought the snake was pretty cool! He happily cleaned the blood up for me since I was all but gagging! Cool did not cross my mind!

I don't like snakes, especially in my house, no wonder we haven't had any problems with mice! I thought I was gonna have to call Steve to save the day(poor guy, I always call him, normally for mice) but Wendy had just gotten here and she put her super woman suit on! Glad it wasn't still at the dry cleaners!:o) Now my husband is gonna be busy looking for any possible place that a snake can get in. And my kids are not aloud to leave the door open or open(basement) windows for any reason at all! I am glad it didn't come out when the realtor was showing the house the other day, that would be a real seller!! :o) Snakes stay for free!! Extra bonus, you don't even have to set mouse traps and empty them, they do all the work!

Silly Kids!

My kids were in a silly mood, if you can't tell!
All I was hearing was "take a picture of me mom!"
somehow I managed not to get any of Devon. :o/

I told her to smile.....talk about a fake one!!

~Turtle~

The Girls had just gotten out of the shower and were excited to get to play with a "new" toy(one Courtney has been asking for for her Birthday since her last Birthday!) a cash register that I found at a garage sale, plus Aunt Sarah found a baby turtle on the way to my house that morning so she picked it up for the kids! Nichole thought it would be a good idea to weigh it and see what it was gonna cost!

After they did that, I took it off with Courtney's demand. And set it right beside them on the bed so they could wait until its head popped out since it had been hiding in its shell the whole time. Courtney begged to put it on a Kleenex so it wouldn't touch anything that she has to touch......so we did!

Then there he was checking everything out...which Nichole thought was pretty cool!

When he crawled off the Kleenex and started moving....Courtney didn't find it so cool!
Landyn said, "Oh great, here we go again Courtney is being a drama mc queen! ( he has always said it wrong after seeing lightening Mc Queen!:o))

~Baseball~

Devon had his first game, he was excited and was praying it wouldn't rain and his game be canceled. :o) He was funny when he made it home and got a point for his team! You would have thought he won a million dollars.....and what he got was a juice box and gummies!!:o)

Catching a frog!

This is Jacob, the little boy that I watch! He is fun to have around and always does something to make us laugh! He was trying to catch a frog until he did for the first time and then he thought he should do it with a stick after that!

Notice my girls shadows..... they were staying back, they don't care for frogs like boys do!

I love this picture!
