Our life lately.....

We have been very busy the last few weeks....I cooked for 3 dinners in a weeks time and as much as I love it...it about did me in!! As I wasn't feeling good that week and I hurt my elbow and had it in a sling as much as I could. I am not gonna go into how I did that because you would find way too much humor in it!! ;o/ I helped cook for Sis Schapers funeral, the Fall Dinner at the school and the school annual Appreciation Dinner!! I am definetly a fan of being organization and having a clean kitchen to cook in!! Ryan says that I think I have to know a year ahead of time to be organized and plan!! Not quite! But even a days notice would be great!! ;o)

The boys had all A's on their grade cards!! We were proud of them! They have a 5 day break off of school for Thanksgiving. For some reason that is always more exciting for them than for me!! The girls are busy bees and like to help mommy as much as possible and go go go!! They will both have Birthdays next month the 14th and the 29th! Courtney is excited and can't wait. I heard her telling Nichole if she didn't do something for her(that she just asked her to do) that she wouldnt give her any birthday presents to open. LOL! Not sure where that came from, but I let Courtney know that she might not have any either. Nichole swallowed a penny yesterday so I get the priviledge of going through her poo to make sure it goes out the other end and we are suppose to watch for fever, etc. I always thought if I got paid to wipe hineys, etc that it would be worth more than a penny!! :o)

Ryan has about a two month furlough starting at noon today til January 10th. The rumor is that it will be extended even longer during furlough. Rumors seem to always be right on with what happens so we aren't to thrilled. He graduates with his Bach in Buisness on Dec 11th, but technically already has it. So his plan is to send out resumes, look for other jobs, etc. Which can mean selling the house, moving, etc. So if you think about it you might pray for the right doors to open and everything to go smooth if it is what we are suppose to do. I am open to the Lord's will! Just wish it was in a book in black and white so we can know ahead of time what we are suppose to do and how to plan! (that is part of what Ryan is talking about when it comes to be being a planner) It is all a little nerve racking! But we keep reminding each other that HE NEVER HAS FAILED US YET! Although you wonder where he is at times.

I had a birthday the 7th of this month and turned a big 30!! All the kids made Birthday cards, helped daddy make cookies, etc. Devon made me a birthday hat and glasses(a mask) to wear!! Talk about exciting!? He was pretty proud of it and I think Aunt Maria might have helped him with the idea....
