Sunday Egg Hunt and lunch at G-ma and Papa's!

Nichole begged me not to do her hair "like sissy's" And...I obviously did! I thought she looked cute!

Sunday morning Courtney and I were talking about Jesus dying on the cross for us and having him in our hearts so we could see him again and go to Heaven. She said, "I love him, alot, but how is he gonna come down here?"(as she looked up) I said, "I guess from the sky" her reply, "I will just unlock the front door and he can come in that way!"

Daddy taught Nichole how to hold a fish! She was pretty proud of herself. I was proud of her too, cause I have no desire to touch the slimey things!

Egg Hunting!

The boys weren't thrilled with "girl baskets" but that is what we had from last year so as Landyn often says, "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!"

The kids played outside all day and went fishing so they look like orphans!! Just to explain the crazy hair and dirty clothes.

We did an egg hunt with the kids Saturday night since it was suppose to rain Sunday and be a muddy mess. Courtney helped me hide some of the eggs, I figured out how she hid them so quick, there were about 8-10 in a pile in the same spot.

Elementary Spring Program

The kids did a great job lastnight.

I told Landyn that he did a good job singing, he replyed in excitement, "you are the first one to tell me that!" He doesn't exactly sing on tune all the time but he sings his heart out! ;o) And his mama was proud of him and his brother!

My boys tell me that they have "the bestest music teacher in the world!"
:o) I think so too!

It would take alot of patience to do a program with a bunch of onery, hyper kids!! But Mrs Snider somehow does it!

~Kindergartners~

After the storm!

After the not so fun storm Thursday evening, we saw this.

It is crazy how after going through the storm there is a calm, peaceful ending! Seems to be the case in the storms of life as well!

Talk about chaos!

I will stick with just four!!:o)

We kept Todd and Elizabeth's kids so they could go to Jr/Sr Banquet....talk about a crazy house! The kids love playing with each other, and we like to help and watch them when we can. They got a little wild so I made them all sit and do something for a while! :o)

Update on fish....

Well, all four goldfish that were alive this morning died. Nichole wouldn't give them a break! One of them she took out of the bowl to show Jacob(a 1 yr old I am baysitting) and he stuck it in his mouth! And of course with little teeth marks...it didn't survive! I think we are done with goldfish as pets. :o) The catfish in the big tank enjoyed them though!! :o/

Yard Work

The kids were pulling the trailor and cleaning up stick out of the ditch. Courtney took her baby for a ride with them!

Ryan was working in the yard so he could seed again and the brick wasnt holding down the attachment very good so he had Devon sit on i t keep it down! When I looked outside my thoughts were, Seriously? Only Ryan! He cracks me up sometimes!

Here fishy ,fishy....

You can tell Nichole is use to catching minnows, I tried to explain to her that she can't do her goldfish the same way. She was having a good time, I was a little afraid of what I might find this morning. But they were still alive!

~Tupperware~

I had a Tupperware Party for Amanda Sutton, who is just starting to sell it and ended up with a good party, I got most of this stuff for free, besides the 50% off and the 25% off! I was excited! The bad part was having to wash everything! I am even missing a couple things that were on back order.

Alumni Banquet

This was after the Banquet that he hoped would be over at 7:30 and it was at least 8:30. ;O( He had a long day and was tired. As well as I! Uncle Dave was asked to speak about Grandma Goins, who Alumni honored this year!

Last weeks news...

Devon shot his first rabbit(with dads help)....

Nichole was convinced that we had vampires outside, she wanted her dads gun so she could shoot them. The blinds were making a noise when the wind was blowing so hard and it was scaring her, (she has watched too much scooby doo.) Ryan (and his wife) have been busy getting ready for Alumni.....Doesn't he look good in those "night vision goggles of Landyn's?! :o)........

Ryan and the boys found some antlers when they went shed hunting....

Landyn made a trip to the ER(the picture should explain why)...

and Courtney was sick...
