Woolaroc~Part 1

Ryan was able to take Saturday off so we took the kids to Woolaroc for a fun thing to do during Spring Break, the kids and Ryan had not been there before, so they were excited! We invited my mom to go along as well! Kids 12 and under are free and adults are only $10, so as far as cost is wasn't bad at all.

I have never seen cows/bulls/whatever you call em....with long shaggy hair like this.

The first mile or two is just driving and seeing the animals that run lose, so the kids were piled everywhere so they could see out the window.
Nichole wanted to pet the buffalo but wasn't sure how close she wanted to get. I tried telling her he wouldn't bite...since he wasn't alive but it took Grandma holding her hand to get her to get close enough to pet it.

We got there just in time for feeding time so all the animals were up close, running beside the car, across the road, etc heading to their food. That was pretty neat for the kids to see.

The kids had never seen a water buffalo. I sure didn't have a clue that is what they were. :o)

Ryan thought the dark colored zebra was ugly. :o)
The kids recognized this Watusi as something that daddy, uncle and papa killed for hamburger! I think they look better in hamburger form!
My ornery kids!
